托福口說Task 1範例 (二) 

要加速反應和組織回答內容的關鍵，唯一就是"練習"，因為只有練習所以腦海中有回答的相關記憶，腦海中很自然地就會產生相關內容進而整理成一小篇幅的短文。其實這不脫離托福考試對於考生要求的目的，也就是就美語非本國語的外國人，如何用美語與本地人和其他外國人做生活和學術、工作上的交流無礙。就好比我們用中文溝通幾乎不需要思考單字和文法，自然而然就可以說出合乎中文的體系架構且用詞用句正確的內容相同。

1. Choose a park or public area that you often go to and explain why it is  important. Include reasons and examples to support your response.  

Personally, I would like to say that the public place I often go to is Shanghai beach beside my school. It is very famous in my country. There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is the beach is a wonderful place for sports lovers like me because I can enjoy jogging, swimming, fishing, and playing volleyball on the beautiful beach, thus I can improve my health condition and prepare myself for physical challenge in the future. The second reason is I can have all kinds of delicious seafood, such as lobsters, crabs and various fishes, it’s so fascinating. So that’s why I often go to Shanghai beach beside my school.

2. Describe the most efficient transportation in your country. Explain why. Include details and examples in your explanation. 

Personally, I would like to say that the most efficient transportation in my country is the train. There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is its high speed, It moves much faster than those buses and taxis, because it doesn’t have any traffic jams in rush hours. The second reason is the low price, compared to other means of transportation, trains charge much less and the price is reasonable for most of the citizens. So that’s why I think trains are the most efficient transportation in my country. (the subway system often covers the most important blocks and areas of each city so it’s very convenient for people to travel from one place to another.) 

3. Choose one of the following works of art and explain why you like it most: comedy, stage play, and musical play. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.  

Personally, I would like to say that I like comedy most. There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is I can learn a lot of jokes from the comedy and share them with my friends, which can improve my interpersonal and communication skills. The second reason is I can make friends with those who have the same love for comedy, and we can have a get-together. We talk, we laugh, we discuss, and all of these make my life funny. So that’s why I like comedy most.  

4. Describe characteristics of a good friend 

Personally, I would like to say that a good friend should have the following characteristics at least. The first characteristic I wanna say is that he should be talkative, in this way, I would not feel lonely and have the chance to improve my interpersonal and communication skills which are very important in my future career. The second characteristic is he should be obliging, when I have difficulty, he will help me deal with it; when I feel depressed and wanna give up, he will stay with me and encourage me. So that’s the characteristic a good friend should have.  (Intelligent. When we encounter some problems, he or she has the capacity to deal with them, careful enough to analyze the proposals and decisive enough to make the final decision.  a good partner should be cooperative. That means he or she has a strong team spirit. To reach the same goal, friends must be working together and working toward the same goal.)

5. Describe the most important invention 

Personally, I would like to say that the most important invention in the past 100 years is the Internet. There are a couple of reasons to name. The first reason I wanna say is I can get the information immediately, through internet, I can find the information in a second, but it takes me several days to find the information through books. The second reason is it is convenient for us to communicate with each other, for example, we can talk with American friends through MSN without going there directly. So that’s why I believe the most important invention in the past 100 years is the Internet.
