其實從這些解答可以發現，其實托福閱讀很注重考生是否可以從文章內容中真正理解文章的涵意，以及裡面所提出的具體理由與論證、主旨是什麼的；另外當然也就是單字的理解，因為像單字題的話，如果原本就知道單字的意思當然是最好，但如果不知道單字的意思的話，第一個方法是從上下文去推敲單字意思，另外一個方法就是將選項帶入原本的單字位置去看看是否合乎文章的涵意。
